depending on your location and what pipe you are using. I left my low end at factory default, and my high end 3 turns out. This was slobbering rich. I ran a gallon like this, then started leaning out the high end 3 clicks per tank until the back plate started just feeling warm. I then had to lean out the low end just a little to get the hyper to idle smooth. 10 gallons later, this is one sweet engine. Love the power of the hyper.

I'm using a MP2Q, you might not be able to get the motor to run at 3 turns out on the high needle, just find the richest you can get it to still run at and start from there.

I only ran mine one gallon like that, many people say less, but I've had no problems with my hyper, it might be overkill, but the motor seems to like it.

I wouldn't call it hard 3d, I'm still a beginer, so my collective management isn't very good, so I do use alot of the hypers power though. I fly most of my flight in idle up.

I'm about 1.25 turns out on the high needle, and if stock possition on the low needle were 12oclock, I'm about at the 2oclock possition.
