I was thinking of purchasing some spare parts and maybe another kit from hellikraft.com...
they are selling the 50se for $447, and a belt for $15 and so on.. these seem like prices that are almost too cheap. I am used to buying from heliproz and Rick's. At least when i buy from heliproz they let me know if a part is made by another manufacturer like mavrick....

what's the deal with helikraft, good expierences anyone? are some of their parts not OEM? good quality? i just paid 23 for a belt how can they sell for 10 dollars cheaper..
thanks,
Joe

Great place, excellent and fast service and parts are all original manufacturer. If they do have some "nonTT" parts they will ask you if it is OK. In my case I order the "look-alike" feathering spindles if they don't have the TT in stock. That is the only nonTT parts I have ever seen them have.

Sometimes they are not the least expensive. Just have to make up a spreadsheet with your part numbers/prices and compare.

Only problem on kits is the shipping. On parts, it helps to have a decent size order as the shipping can get a bit much sometimes. I usually try to order at least $150 or more of parts at a time.

Stuff usually ships from Taiwan within 24 hours and I have it on my doorstep around 3 days total from order. Just depends on what time of day I order. Usually for Midwest delivery it comes to Chicago non-stop, clears customs pretty quick, then Lexington, KY and then to Evansville.

you can figure out the shipping before you commit to buy by filling you basket, and starting the checkout process, I think the 2nd or 3rd screen it will break out the total order before the funds change hands and the deal is sealed so there is no suprises, as well as the other bloke said I myself always check prices against them, used to be H.K. was the lowest around for everything, thats changed a bit, they still have very low prices, just be educated is all I'm saying (I love helikraft by the way) also look at their upgrades....at one time their upgrades were about 50% of that of the states....not sure if thats the case anymore but thats what I used to use as my offset for shipping to make it worth my while to pay the shipping...

Ask your Doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

I ordered a bunch of tail booms from them and was pretty happy, some of the stuff for example the main spindles are junk from the ones I recieved. Shipping on the tail booms was expensive but it worked out to still be a good deal for me.

Helikraft seems good so far
I just ordered a Raptor 90 SE from Helikraft. They gave me an unexpected random discount that more than covers the shipping costs to South Africa ... WOW unexpected and loving it ... The service is quick and the kit was quickly shipped . So I'll see when it arrives.

I ordered about $300 in parts and the shipping came out to 35dollars... But then the variable discout took off 25 dollars. I was very happy, I probably would have cost me 400 from heliproz. awesome I have a new store for my parts, thanks alot for your prompt testimonials....

Great service from John et al @ Helikraft for years. Always stand behind their products. Always fast and responsive. For everything from the occasional spare to full blown kits/engines - I always try them first. The customer service is what you would have expected from the likes of Tower Hobbies and other major US retailers.
They get stuff pretty cheap since it's made in Taiwan and they are located in Taiwan.

Of course if you can find made in America parts, that would be better but since most come from overseas anyways.....
