I went to RaptorTechnique but I couldn't find my answer.
I'm building a Raptor 30 V.2, it came with an Ikarus Profi-Gyro. Where the heck do I mount this? The manual doesn't show this, shows another kind but not this. Also where do I plug in the 2 wires to? Does anything plug into the (lack of a better term) little box? Am I missing a piece here or just having a bad day (brain dead) and can't figure this out? I have been seaching the web even went to IKARUS web site but they don't help either.
Any and all help will be GREATLY appreciated..

The gyro is "wired" between the receiver and the tail rudder servo.

For this to work, the main gyro connector goes into the rudder channel of your receiver, and the "gain" gyro connector goes to an aux channel on your receiver. Which aux channel you use is up to you, but if I remember correctly channel 5 is the usual channel for the gyro gain. The tail rudder servo plugs into the gyro.

As far as where to mount the gyro, that depends on the model and your preferences. Typically gyros are mounted using double-sided foam tape to either an available location in the servo tray area or on a platform behind the main mast.

I have just built a raptor 30 and the question about the stacking of the battery and receiver is a valid one. I stacked them with the battery on the bottom and cushioned the hell out of all of it with the stuff they sell at the hobby shop. Vibration not good for electrical components.

My Gyro sits on the gyro tray on the frame just in front of the tail boom. Don't cushion it though.
