What is the best way to setup a helicopter with the 13 point curves that are available on the Futaba 9Z radio? Is just to look at the graph or do you actually calculate each value?

I do both - calculate the "best" value then look at the graph and straighten out any kinks.

Calculate how? The average between two points? That's how I did it on my 8U system...not as many points though

Here's something I did awhile back in Excel for calculating points based on a trendline:

This was before I started using completly linear pitch curves.

Don't use them, make the helicopter symetrical in pitch. If you have a total of 24* then put 12 on top and 12 on bottom. Then take it down with your atv on your pitch, until you get 10 and 10 or what ever you want it to be. If you have a ccpm machine, take it down on your swash plate menu. Too many problems trying to set up a 13 point pitch curve, and then when you crash it, you get to do it all again! Just my two cents!
