What a great resource for Hornets, now all I get is an error message trying to access it. Looks like its been taken off the web.

Anyone know any more information on the HH board? Are there any other good boards for Hornet info (besides this one of course!) ?

Hornet Heli forum
I know the Hornet Heli forum was popular and I too was surprised when it went away some time ago.

On a brighter note, where else can you find posts from guys like Walt Ferar, Eric Larsen, Bob Johnston and Peter Novotny in one place but Run Ryder ?? I have had the pleasure of knowing (and sponsoring) some of these great fliers.

Hopefully they will all feel free to post here and enjoy the interaction from all the Hornet enthusiasts from around the world.

Lots of cool new products on the way like the Stinger 6, tuning parts, variable pitch propellars and motors for the foamies and Delta wing fliers. We hope to have and to make your, a very Merry Christmas this year !

All the best ,

You can sometimes access Hornet Heli forum threads if you search for Hornet info on Google. Type in a search, when you see the list come up, if you see a link to something on hornet-heli, instead of clicking on that link (which will lead you to a "Server Error" screen), see if there is a "Cache" link at the end of the description. Often times there is, click on this, and you can at least see the original messages from hornet-heli, sans pictures.

Google searches the web in creating their links in their search engine, and oftentimes, the crawler will take "snapshots" of pages it finds. This is the Google cache. So, many of the pages are backed up in Google's database for old hornet-heli threads.

Try it, I've found several topics that were helpful.

BTW, I saw Walt Ferar and Eric L. posted here in the past, would really be nice if they chimed in again. http://www.ericlarsonrc.com shows set-up info for the X3D for the 2005 season, so I assume he's still flying his Hornets, although recently I've seen some amazing videos of him with tricked-out Trex's.
