I have a problem with my 450xl tail going out of control after a few seconds of hover. It will take off fine and then all of a sudden the tail will start shaking up and down violently. I have to set it back down quick before I loose total control. It was flying sweet until I crashed trying to go inverted without my dumb ass putting it in idle up. I replaced the main shaft, wood main blades, stock grey boom and inspected the head/tail assembly. Everything seems trimmed properly while on the ground but once I lift off it looses control after a few seconds in the air. I recall seeing somewhere on this forum about someone having a similar issue but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem with a T-Rex when I was experimenting with using fuel tubing for dampening. If it was too tight the exact same thing would happen to me.

Bingo. You guys hit the hammer on the nail. The head dampening was too tight. Just lossened it up a little with new ruber O-rings and it works great now.
Thanks!
