I'm trying todecide what is the best route to go for a govenor on the graphite gasser I'm rebuilding.
I have a brand new revmax that I can use. If I do is a Stator Gator the way to go, or the gasser pickup that TJ offers for the gasser?
The alternative is to purchase a GV1. Would that still use the stator gator for a triggering device?
Can anyone share their experiences with me on either unit?
TIA,
John

From my own experience, the GV-1 with Stator Gator is pretty well plug and play and idiot proof. That doesn't mean the other option is bad, either. I'm just commenting on the one that I know personally works and works well.

Throw this question over to the Gasser forum, too. See if Bill Meador is back up and running.

I am using the CSM RevLock with the stator gator with great results. I was uusing the GV1 w/stator gator and it worked fine except it would overspeed on quick descents. The RevLock holds the rpm in all conditions. I recomend it. Dave

Same as Dave. I have had nothing but good results with the RevLock and Stator Gator.

Well, I went ahead and installed the GV1/StatorGator in the gasser and am going to install the RevMax in the Freya. I must admit though, the GV1 seems to be anything but plug n play!
