Chongolnee,

As of right now (till I get better equipment) I am not stitching the panoramic images. These are raw panoramic images from XTR. From the rcsim.de site. I am importing the raw panoramic images into G3 and mapping the colision data. If anyone that is unformiliar with mapping the collision data in the airports editor for G3 has a panaramic image of a F3C or the 3D masters field I would be more than happy to map it out. I am waiting on a new camera, then I will be creating panoramic images of some of my local sites.

Rob..

I would just like to let you know we all appreciate your time & effort..youve done a great Job thanks..

So come on realflight how about getting the model/field editors for us to play around so you don't have to be a PC guru to make up your own colour schemes

Some of the downloads include files with preview in the name and other with a *.db file.

Do we need to copy these to any particular location?

Thanks

Someday, I might put a cute statement here.

No, just import the main image not the preview. Then cut and paste the Objects3file in the airport folder. Remember you must import the image, close G3, then cut and paste the ObjectsG3file and select yes to overwrite the old one that g3 creates on the image import prosess.

Also, all the photo fields have been edited to have the heli takeoff posision tail in now. Enjoy

NP, if you have a 8160 X 3060 panaramic image of a F3C field, e-mail it to me and I'll get it mapped.

Just want you to know that I also appreciate your work. Did a new download of the Millenium file but still only get 2 files unzipped (see earlier post page 2 for the files I end up with) and do not get the yellow heli. Guess it's something to do with filezip. Will try winzip later.

Thanks again.

I just deleted my millenium colorscheme file and downloaded the one off my site. After unzipping it I checked the two files and they are correct. The one is the DDS file (colorscheme) and the other is the plnG3 file (heli) I installed them and they work fine.

DUH!!!!!

I had not gone into the tab to change the color scheme to the millineum. Works as advertised now that I found the area to change it.

Great work. Thanks.

Something weird here... I'm copying the objects file into the airports folder and I can still fly through stuff... I just flew in the sport hall but I could fly through the walls. And prior to staring up G3, I recopied the original objects file into the airports folder.... Something is amiss on my computer.

I download mine to a temporary folder in one of my partitions, unzip them to the same temporary folder location then copy/paste them to the appropriate G3 locations as noted in the rcheliace instructions for the downloads.

J,

You have to first import the panoramic image, when it opens, exit G3. Then cut and paste the ObjectsG3file into the airports folder. You will be asked if you wish to overwrite the existing file, select YES. You should then have the correct collision data.

Do you have the latest version? The photo fields are only available on the latest version, 401 I believe.
