Looks like Tower is getting into the better electric helis. Kind of looks like a shogun. Says it's a Helimax......It's news to me, may not be to the rest of you guys. I think it looks pretty good for $149.0

Judging by the collective pitch arm and the frame set its a copy of a Trex...

I think the general thought is that it is actually the Ark x400 just rebranded as the MX400.

Its definitely a shogun. They seem to be selling both the original and the V2.

Someday, I might put a cute statement here.

No, it's definitely not a shogun, not even similar. It's a relabeled X400. Nice looking heli, I helped set one up a couple weeks ago.

Anybody noticed the similarity of the MX400 with the ARK 400? The MX400 manual even includes a typo referring to the ARK400. From what I read, it was designed by the company/guy that did the T-Rex. I do know, from personal experience, that the tail gear box cracked in the same place/manner as the plastic T-Rex case.

Its not a Shogun, more like a Trex. It flies great after you replace all of the Z bend linkage, replace the swash plate with a metal one. The plastic head is a weak link also. The bigest problem is getting parts, a lot of people have bought this heli to learn how to fly and are needing a lot of parts and whom ever is making the XM400 like the Blade CP probably didn't figure on the demand for parts that there is.
