The koll rotor pro is what I think will do the fastest best job out there for blades (even for Tail rotors). Ray's manual outlines some ways to do it with the Koll or with a triple beam balance and a high point. I have the Koll after picking it up here in the classifieds for $70. They cost $100 new but finding one on RunRyder isnt too tricky.

As for balancing heads, paddles, ect. I bought a long counterbalance shaft from the UK for my high-point balancer. for balancing the head with paddles and everything attached.

A gram scale, a high point balancer and a blade balancer are the basic three I use. That seems to fill the bill for 99% of my applications. If anyone has a Koll for sale at $70.00 I'm interested.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it!
