Hey Guys what temp during normal to aggressive forward flight does your OS.32-.37 reach in the Caliber 30?

It depends on a lot of different parameters.
where you measure temp.
what you measure temp with.
when you measure temp.

I use a radio shack infrared thermometer pointed at the base of the cylinder head... roughly at the OS logo. I could only do it after landing and slowing down the blades. The engine begins to cool immediately when you go back to idle, so my measurements were "ballpark" at best.

An OS32 could be ringed or non-ringed. A non-ringed engine should be run at temperature... not artificially rich/cool. I found that 190-205F was about right for my non-ringed OS32.

Don't know about the OS37, but it is ringed, so you aren't going to damage it by running it too cool.

I use a raytech laser pointer type temp gun around the head. After doing a quick landing it is at about 190 degrees. Sound like we are all in the same range.
