I guess the combo will fly fine.

Make sure you measure temps of the hacker and esc. The motor pinion can be used to balance rpm / current flow (read temperature of battery, esc and motor).

Are you going to use Lipo's? If so the Beat does not have Lipo undervoltage protection so you better add a liposave to your setup.

Marc

If it was me, I would either get the hacker C50 13L with a 4s3p (6000 Mah) pack from Thunder Power (prolites) or I would get the C50 15L with a 5s3p pack. If you use the C50 13L with a 4 cell you might want to use a 14 tooth pinion, Mikado recommends a 13 tooth, but in my experience it is not enough, the head speed will be too slow.

These setups do not have balistic power by any means, but they are proven setups that will last years with proper care.

Either 13L or 15L will fly fine.. You can use higher voltage in the future with 15L.

The Beat 55-6-18 will be OK up to 6S lipo's (18 round cell voltage). Although there is no low voltage cutoff as Marc stated, it shouldn't be a problem because the headspeed will slow down and begin to loose power when the voltage drops. In fact, low voltage cutoff may not be a good idea in helicopters because that means a sudden cutoff of power and you need to do a good job to recover the heli with an autorotation - heli does not glide like the fixed winged aircraft. What you need to do is to time the flight and land the heli before the voltage drops.

Ok i have decided to go with the ESC 55-10-32 although more money it is much better, i have decided to wait and not get the Hacker motor 13L as there is a new NEU motor comming out that eliminates the need for a box saving me 130.00 dollars it is supposed to run cooler and yes i will be flying with LIPO'S 6S2P-4200 MAH, hopefully this combo works out, i will keep all posted when it is final.I have a quick question i have the battery extender in carbon what should i use to mount it to my frame? thanks to all....Ivan!
