Greetings everyone,

I just purchased a new raptor 50 with a 9C transmitter and 9252 servos. I am wondering how to install the servos. Do I unscrew the round base on the top, and screw in the "Spoke" arms ? or do I simply leave as is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There are also some additional 'bigger' circular arms ...what do I use them for?

Thanks so much for everything
Amar

Unscrew the servo horn that came with the servos. install in heli as per directions. Turn on radio then rx. Go to servo menu in the 9c, place the collective stick at center(watch the graph) then what ever the instructions say to intall the servo balls thats what arm you are going to have to use i.e 15mm, 12.5 what ever.

There are quite a few different hobby shops in the Chicago area. Al's would be one you should visit for some hands on help. Don't bypass or skimp on the help. If it weren't for my good buddy Pete Niotis I would have been lost in the beginning.

Not to insult you but servo horns are pretty minute in the scheme of an R/C heli. They are very important but much more is to come. It is good you are asking the question by all means but you will clearly have many more complex questions that will be much better answered with hands on assistance.

The program only accelerates from here.

Enjoy.

Hi Amar, from ur question it's obvious u need to join a club or at the very least contact an experienced pilot in ur area. This will save u a lot of time and money, as well as make the hobby more enjoyable. Good luck

follow his build guide closely, infact go back over anything you have already done step by step because there's a lot of information there thats not in the manual or not clear in the manual.
