I realize this is a heli site but I know a lot of you fly electric as well....I have a electric plane that I am getting ready for indoor flying (Cold here in winter) and the motor on it is very small..a 180 or something around that size....I wonder if a CD rom motor would be more powerful ?? I don't need much more power but I have so many used computer parts that I thought there may be something that would work. I only have an ICS50 speed controller as well...would it be adequate for anything larger...??

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.... Dennis

A CD rom motor is a brushless motor and the ESC you have is for a brushed motor so it won't work. You would also need to buy a brushless ESC.

Take Care,
