I found some old posts and just wanted to verify that a 90se is still the better choice. What is the difference between the SE and standard?

What is the opinion on the OS91 C-Spec pumped? Does it still have issues?

Does the kit come with a header tank? What is the capacity of the tank and usual running time?

The post at http://www.runryder.com/t127849p1/ talks about a set screw that is too short in the tail. Does this still apply?

Thanks!

Header tank included

should get between 7 to 14 minutes run time depending on your motor choice and flying style

check out onlyraptors.com for some nice comparisons of the two machines.

I chose the 90 STD and upgraded the parts that I thought were necessary.

In the end, I ended up upgrading everything except the boom.

Great flying machine .

Tail hub
As far as the tail hub goes, Heliproz has the new one piece tail hub. It locks to the shaft with two set screws. No more grub screws. Also with the one piece tail hub, you wont overtighten the bearings.

I ended up with the STD kit. They didn't have the SE. So I upgraded the head to aluminum. Is there any other crutial parts I should upgrade? What is the popular Raptor site with lots of tips and such? I had the link once

Thanks

Never thought to ask. Servo horns, should I get some aluminum ones, or will the stock plastic work okay?

As far as the 90 SE grub screws for the tail, that has been resolved and the kits now come with the appropriate screws.
Not sure about that, I received a kit about 1 month ago, perhaps it was an older kit (or perhaps not), but the grub screws were still the short ones. I purchased the new tail hub (part # pv0499)

I’m going to put down some words and photos about the build soon and stick them on the perth heli clubs site (under the 'club helis' page)
