I have recently upgraded from a futaba to a JR radio which I would like to use with my XTR.

I have the usb dongle and the telephone plug type cable for my ff9 however when checking their website to get a new cable for my JR 10X TX costs 7 euros for the cable and another 40 for postage.

Since this is ridiculous I am not going to give them the pleasure of buying from them until they check their postage and bring it closer to reality!

I would prefer to pay 40 for the cable and 7 for postage!

Anyone here who has a JR cable for sale? can make one? or provide the schematics so that I can make it myself?

Many thanks guys and sorry for the bitching but I am a bit frustrated atm!

keep them flying and keep them safe...

If you check the Reflex site it has all the schematics for radio's. You will then be able to do it yourself.

Tottally agree!

However it would cost 5-6 euros to send something of this size recorded from Greece to Germany so cannot beleive it will cost 40 the opposite way. And most definetely it does not have to be a courier service to get a recorded/registered delivery.

Anyway, thanks for the info on the schematics, although this does not solve my problem as it simply shows 2 cables leaving the mono jack. I need the other end as well. I beleive the futaba cable is using more than 2 wires (although I have not checked)

I might try giving them a call to see what I can get...

Fixed it

Just tried to connect my 14MZ to the interface, but was not able to do it. Have opend my FF9 plug ( it's for Real Flight) and notice that there wasn't any cable between the two on the right bottom as it's shown HERE
Is it just to solder that?

Bought this cable cause I had a JR before.

What the jumper does is power on the transmitter without powering on the RF module (battery saving). If your plug doesn't have the jumper, you can use the power on switch and remove the RF module. I think this should achieve the same thing, but the jumper is much easier.
