I just got a #35 and the swash plate is tilted to the right slightly, and appears level front to back. Should it be level in both directions? or is there some weird reason it should be tilted to one side that I don't know about?

It's usually tilted to one side to compensate for the helicopter wanting to tip over when spooling up. Mine was tilted to the left because it wanted to tip over to the right when I spooled up. If you make it level, then you have to give your aileron stick an opposite direction to the way it wants to tip. When it's flying it will also want to go to the side the swashplate tilts to, so I would make it level so it flies straight in the air.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick
