Ive just received a 2200mah battery for my dragonfly and i received a AC charger for it.

I Already have a Prolux 1-2 cell charger that i use for my small 800mah battery and i need to know if i can charge my bigger battery with it.

i.e- im not sure if my 2200 is a 2 or 3 cell battery. (it contains 3 banks of batteries.)

Its rated at 11.1V btw

that is a 3 cell battery. Do not try to charge it with that charger. Get a good 3 cell lipo charger like the pocketlader or triton.

If it's a Dragonfly mini, that battery will burn up the electronics (the Dragonfly Mini uses a 2S setup)

Yeah watch out about voltage. Sometimes you can use the higher voltage Lipo packs if you change out the motors and/or use heat sinks. Not sure what the bec/esc will handle on that heli though.

Each cell is 3.7v

1cell = 3.7v
2cell = 7.4v
3cell = 11.1v

Absolutely need a charger that can match the cell count.
