I recently finished building a Hawk Pro and flew it for the first time today without training gear. Four or five times the nose of the heli would yaw (~10 degrees) in either direction, without rudder input. I am pretty sure this is a gyro problem. I am flying a Century PG2000IIR Dual Rate Piezo Gyro. The first time I flew it, I had some tail wagging, so I turned the gain down to 25% from the 50% at which it was set from the factory. I will gladly accept any advise since I have not found any helicopter flyers in the Atlanta, GA area yet.

I am having simular problem.

Engine mixture not right
rx interference(vibration cause or not)
battery for gyro(onboard battery) low
linkage to tail binding
worn wires
possible bad battery or onbaord battery meter

This is just what I have found from research
