i have an aon motor in my 450xl. i noticed after a couple of flights the motor body or can, twists and moves. the wires exit out of the bottom of the motor and if i turn the can the wires move in a diffrent position. is that normal and is it messing with the motor timing? i tried tightening the 3 small screws at the bottom of the motor but after a few flights it seems to come loose again?thanks

If the can is moving or twisting while the wire(stator) is not moving, then it is absolutely not a good thing. It is very likely that the stator came unglued to the motor casing.

If you wish, please send this motor back to us for immediate evaluation;

Mine did the same thing. Don't fret just take it out, remove the 3 screws from the wire end and remover cover, rotor, unscrew the end from the can apply a little lock tite to the threads reinstall the end and... Here's where you have to be careful! Take the motor mount screws put a mark on them about 2-3mm from the end of the screw, insert the screws into the motor to the mark, NO MORE! Lay something between the screws and snug it down. Re-assy motor. I done both ends because the 3 little screw was a little loose side. That's my fix.

Welcome my son, Welcome to the machine
