I have a heli up for sale. After the initial offer to purchase the item, the person (I'll call him person #1) disappeared. From person #1, I received the initial offer, then no response to email or PM. I also received purchase offers from 3 or 4 additional people. After almost 3 days without any contact from person #1, I offered the item to the second person (I'll call him person #2) who contacted me to purchase the heli. Due to the weekend and federal holiday, no payment has been received and the item has not been shipped yet to person #2. Now, 5 days after making the offer, person #1 has finally contacted me and says he still wants to buy the heli.

The question now is: to whom, in all fairness, should I sell the heli? In my opinion, it should go to person #2 since he has maintained appropriate contact and we've been working out the details. I want to be fair, though, so I put it up to the members of runryder for feedback.

Happy Flying,

puchase
I always get phone number and verify over phone too.
I would sell to number 2 if he is legitimate, first and then to number 1.
I buy and sell pretty often. Some folks want you to just sit on it until they come up with funds.

Give it to #2 don't even feel bad about #1, not contacting you for 5 days is a joke. In general when someone says they will take it I find out when they can paypal, then tell them if u don't recieve the money buy a certain time it's back up for sale.

Sometimes peaple sell things because of financial hardships, probably not the case but you want to sell something usually fast for any of a million reasons. If I sell anything it will be to buy something else. So i want it to go fast. I think you should sell to person #2, because he never made you think that he changed his mind. Good luck with your decision, and fly safe.
