I've read about using Futaba and Hitec transmitters with the Blade. Will the Blade receiver work with my JR 9303 if I use a JR crystal?

apsdsmracer,

Unfortunatly those of us using JR radios are unable to use the original receiver in the blade. We have to modify the 4 n 1 by taking out the original receiver and putting in a JR receiver. This is a pretty simple process and there is some real good info on it here: http://www.runryder.com/t194740p1/

Hopefully this helps. Good luck!

I got my blade last night and did the conversion immediately. Very easy, I'm flying mine with a JR6102.

Or at least I would be if I hadn't broken the frame at the tail mount this morning. Is it worth trying to glue it back together (CA?) or is it pretty much a replacement part?

answered my own question... I glued it, flew it for a few more minutes, and it broke again. Off to the hobby store...

I wish they'd sell all the parts separately.

Oh well, at least the parts are cheap and it's easy to fix. Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll try them.
