I have three of these, well I've had them for a while now and I want to use them on a 3S1P Lipo pack.

I know I will need to use one on each cell, but the weird thing is that the jumpers on them (small soldered points) are all different to each other, they are little tabs that have been connected together by solder and none of them are the same as on the other two balancers, two have three tabs shorted (different ones) and the last has all four.

Are these ok to use like that or do I need to resolder them in a particular order?

I would post a picture of all three, but the camera is a piece of sh1te, and will not focus at how close it has to be to get a decent size picture.

Hi zoom boy

Well spotted! The solder tabs are just for us to fine-tune the operating voltage so its quite normal for them to vary one to the next. The units are all closely matched to a standard so you can use any balancer with any other (i.e. they don't need to be in matched sets)

Best regards

Ok, I soldered them up, and have a bit of a problem, one is discharged to 4.04v with the light out, the second it discharged to 3.83v with the light out, and the last is still discharging but thats already at 3.67v

So, obviously somethings not right, from the instructions the lipo balancers lights should all be off below 4.21v, all are but one is still discharging.

Edit; I've removed that one that was still on and replaced it with a spare I had, that seems to be alright, so I guess I just have to wait while it recharges to see
