Is this a digital servo you are talking about if not then you should not be running it in ds mode

Just a tip for Optic6 owners - if you want hh mode for normal flying and for 3d you need to use nor and idle2 and leave idle1 for non-hh mode. I don't know if this is how all Optic6's work but it took me a lot of experimentation to figure out it's how mine works.

So, to switch to 3d you'd plug in with with the idle switch to nor (hh mode) to initialize, and then once spooled up switch to idle 2.
