Mr. Wales. You are doing it with style. We just got back from the Tucson shootout and traveling with a nice rig and staying onsite was the E-ticket. If your going to do it do it right! You sir are doing it right.

I am an IDIOT!!!

It's important to have the right hobby transport vehicle to assure that:
1) items are transported safely
2) no harm to passangers from heli's sitting over their laps (hehe)
3) a place for field gear when traveling either to your local area field or to a funfly near you.

Just tell the wife that you need a new family vehicle. (hehehe)

Sprinter Van
I am planning on the Freightliner Sprinter van. 5 cylinder Mercedes motor gets 25mpg with the van loaded half of it payload cap. High top modle so I can stand up and move around and plenty of room for workbench and cargo.

Hey Peter... is that your new support vehicle for the new field we are getting? I hope 8 miles more down the road is not to far for you. Everything I am hearing about this new field is good. See you next weekend.

I have a honda element, and I love it. It could be one of the most practical heli haulers out there. Figure this... 22-24 mpg city driving, plastic interior and floor, resistant of sharp tools, glow fuel ( I only fly electric now), can super comfortably hold 4, or fold the 2 chairs in the back up, and it has as much room in the back as my grandparents old school pickup ( he measured it)! It ain't fast, but it's smooth as silk, great to drive, and doesn't kill the environment or the wallet as many of these other toys. Only car I'd rather have is a mini cooper! I guess I'd only be able to fly micro's with that

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

WOW....found this on carpages.co.uk

"The founder of Superchips, Peter Wales, has sold Superchips Incorporated, the American sister company of Buckingham-based Superchips Limited, for over $40 million. The buyer is MSD Ignition, a leading performance ignition systems specialist whose products are widely used in motorsport and the motor racing aftermarket. Superchips Limited is totally unaffected by the acquisition."

Hey peter, will you adopt me?

I bought a Yukon about six years ago to haul around the helicopters. Here is the contraption that I came up with to merge the stereo and heli support equipment. Heli Hauler

I am now at the point that I need even more room because the back seat is always laying down to haul the EZ Up and other stuff, so I am getting a Yukon XL. If you are in the Oklahoma area, this one is for sale.

RyanW,

That is the coolest speaker enclosure I have seen in my entire life. You've created the nexus of life's two greatest hobbies: RC helis and car audio technology.

Pure genius!

After spending all that money on the coach, you think I am going to scramble out of my car. It has a sunroof, I am expecting at least an elevator, with remote of course.
