What headspeed and gyro do you run?

I also put JB weld in the tail grip to get rid of all the slop, now the tail is solid.
Uhh...thats not good. I would recomend replacing the tail blades grips and all the bearings and thrust washers now.

Some slop in the tail blade grips is normal...
What is the gain set at on your gyro?

The guy that told you about the tailbladeholders slop is completely right, its normal.
Though the slop should only be side to side when checking the tailblades.

When you say wobble, what do you mean? Is the tail moving back and forth as with too high a gyro gain? Or, is the entire heli shaking side to side? Fast or slow? What is your head speed? If the head speed is correct, then something is either bent or out of balance. I've never head to squeeze the center hub before - are you sure that is not bent?

Me neither.
I assume you know that a too low headspeed will cause the heli to wobble?

I also squeezed the center hub with a pliers so it could hold the main mast tight and get rid of the play.
I've never head to squeeze the center hub before
Yeah.....that does'nt make sense..

If the center hub is not tight on the main shaft after you've installed the main bolt....then its probably damaged, from either a crash or something else ......there should be no slop/play at he main shaft and the center hub.

Something is wierd here...

I have a Freya and a Sceadu evo and I started to rebuild my Freya because with all that bling it wasn't flying as strait and perfect as my Evo right out of the box... tighten center hub? JB weld tail grips?

With a second hand bird anything can happen... I would inspect every link, every rotating part on that heli... make sure you have at least 1600 rpm headspeed 60% gain on gyro in HH (may vary according to the vibration level present in the heli) and no training gear

My Freya would wooble like a pendulum when headspeed was around 1300-1400 and I still had the training gear on.

High speed vibe = engine, fan, clutch, bell
Low speed vibe = main mast, spindle, flybar/paddles, tracking, belt drive

left right shaking= giro, governor or something in the tail

for aft shaking = something in the main rotor head

Hope it helps

Tony

I give up
I change the gyro with a known good gyro same problem. I don't know my headspeed, its a new os.50 it seem to be running rich because I would have to spool up slowly or else it would bog out at mid stick. when I lean it out 2 click it would cut out at midstick. once its off the ground it would go to the left or right with heading hold off as I try to adjust the linkage. I try different setting on the radio and it will still try to turn left or right. I plan to take the engine out and put it into the raptor so I could break it in properly. I plan to buy a new .50 evo by nov or dec
at the bottom of the center hub that have the split was spread open a little more than where the split begin at the middle. I check the main mast and it was good, the tail shaft also looks good. I do not want to buy a single thing for this heli anymore, I could use that money for a new evo .50. make me wonder why this bird went through so many hands

Thats a good indication that it was probably crashed.....
A abrupt stop of the main blades will want to tear the head off the main shaft...the center hub is the weak link.
That heli should be completely taken apart and looked over very well.
It is more than likely tweeked in other places aswell.

That's the bad part about getting used stuff......there's always a gamble.
sorry for your bad experience

the heli wanting to turn left or right normally indicates a bad setup or stuborn gyro... if you have a futaba one (401/502/601) just flip it fast between normal rate and HH 3 times and it should reset... happend to me twice... heli started to drift counterclockwise... I would also check tail linkage so that the heli is still in a hover with rate mode on.

My OS 50 SX (non hyper) only would hover at 65% throttle and 8 degree pitch while I was running it in (2.5 main, 11o'clock idle) I barely got it of the ground... your headspeed is probably very low.

The Engine has now (1.25, 12 o'clock idle) and hovers at 55% with 1600 head rpm and 5 degree pitch

Hope that helps ya further

Tony

I will give it a next chance by switching the gyro switch 3x as stated

Try replacing the main center hub instead of the gyro for the 3rd time.
It sounds like the heli has been crashed, and a closer check sounds healthy.
