Ok I thnik I got my vibration problem figured out, the spindle shaft is bent, if I chuck it in a drill , I can see it wobble, so that would explain the blade tracking wierdness. Thanks Xcell Gassman for the advice.

Ok, how the heck can I get the clearance adjusted between the main gear and the tail drive pinion, there is too much clearance, I pried up the main gear into the lower bearing block and then tightened the shaft collar, now there is no end float up and down on the maingear, but the pinion clearance is still too much. What to do??

Loosen up the bolts that hold the front pinion block and then use a screwdriver and push the front pinion block down.... XGM
