My understanding is the 305 TRex blades are discountinued, but Wes is checking for me. I really don't want to cut any blades down, somehow I see more chances for mistakes causing me more problems.

As far as having the blade grips backwards, nah, I was very precise in setup. I've torn this thing down several times trying to find the problem. I'm very good at setting it back up now.
Did you check that the main shaft bearings are seated properly in the frame. There should be no side slop of the main shaft if you try to wiggle the head from side to side.
Now you're onto something. Yes there is wiggle in those bearings seated directly in the frame, that the shaft passes through. What can be done about that?

My LHS had some wood blades made by Evoflight for the Shogun. They cost 2 or 3 bucks more than the foamies and they seem to be a much better blade (not quite as nice as the glass blades with are my favorite still, but much better than the foamies).

I'd try some better blades before tearing into the frame to replace bearings etc (although any slop on the main shaft bearings does need to be fixed for vibration reasons). As I've said before, sometimes you get a foamie that just wont track reliably because it's twisting in flight and not holding pitch consistently.

Blades, blades, blades, yes yes yes. Believe in the Shogun. It can be tracked and as stable as a .30 size helicopter I can prove it!!!!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
