I modified (slightly) a Carl Goldberg Flight box. The bottom wood base plate was replaced as I needed to round off the end for my fuel jug, the old base had a square end and was short. I also added a black lucite plate for the fuel jug to rest on so that the paint would not peel under it. The compartment for the battery walls was flimsy and had too many holes which weakened it so I replaced them as well and reinforced other weak areas. I painted it with Top Flite LustreKote with their Clear Coat. It actually works very well for me and I can hold most all my tools with the starter.

Here is my field box. I built it during my lunch break at work a while back. It`s made out of 1/8" aluminum floor plate and it holds my starter,a spare parts box, two tool pouches, alcohol/towels, temp gauge and glow igniter.
