Thanks,

Yes I will be replacing the screen, as can be seen from the original pics, the old one has seen better days.

I took a few measurements and have a plug almost ready to Vac-form a new one - including with all the frames on it. Just got to finish sanding that to final shape now, add the frames and it's ready to use

Regards

Mark

Just one thing I have noticed with my Lark - the swashplate is all aluminium as opposed to the plastic one that came standard with the kits. Is this an early version or perhaps a later after market modification ? It still has all individual ball bearings inside and the same 3 securing screws.

The lower part is actually on upside down in this pic, I have to undo it again and flip this bit over. The Tiny hole on the front of the swash is actually an oiling hole for the bearings, it is too offset to be for any linkages (Pic 1)

Pic 2 is during reassembly - the gimbal part actually fits in the middle and then a top ring to enclose the bearings & a top cover screwed on to secure it all. Different to that found on the original instructions with the plastic swashplate.

It was binding a little prior to strip down, cleaning and regreasing. (It was also extremely dirty lol) It's now working perfectly.

The engine is still the original HB.25 Serial number 003130

If anyone can enlighten me I would be grateful.

Regards

Mark
