To all of you who are using the cc10
..
I did some tests tonight to further my search for the glitching and sudden shutdown problems where the servos go nutz and start the chicken dance.
First of all, my equipment:
e370 4100 9tooth pinion, kokam 3s1500, 4 gws naro servos and gws gyro nonHH
....
1st test flight...:consisted of strictly hovering straight ahead,,, no sudden rudder or cyclic movements...
Results:no glitching or sudden shutdowns....
2nd test flight: hovering with some positive and negative quick collective movements and cyclic movements banking side to side....
Results: a sudden shutdown with the servos going wacky.....

My thoughts.... i wonder with the cc10 being the bec can only take so much that when you put load on it,,, it causes it to go over current or over heating and then it shuts down.
what do you guys think

do a search here, there are a couple threads on this subject, and one describes a super cheap and easy solution you can build with radio shack components and a soldering iron.

I have a theory to this sudden shutdown or glitch. Mind you this is just a theory, I could be wrong! heh!

The cc10 has the two 1.5amp bec's right... And they swtich back and fourth when one heats up or is overloaded. (I think this sudden glitch or shutdown is the BEC chip switching back and fourth.... i could be wrong. )

patriot21,

Check out this link: http://www.pgoelz.com/piccolo_faq.html#10

Look under "Servos and Glitches". He explains what he found about the BEC voltage dropping when the servos draw full stall current.

Sounds like your symptoms.

Hi there
A bad servo will do this, have one at the moment on my Shogun, servo has centering problems, it draws too much power under load, bec resets and motor cuts and restarts mid air. Not funny, I purchased a new CC25 and then a 35 before I found the answer.
Dunno if this helps
