Well I think I had some sucess with my Hummingbird CP Pro tonight !
I installed the CC PHX 10 and the Himax brushless. I also used my GWS IPC 100 for the tail (against a few people's advise) just to try it.

She flew ...and didn't spin !! I am using the stock gyro, but I think I am still going for the GY201. It seems fairly steady, but I did have to make a lot of corrections with it. I can't wait to try it with a Heading lock gyro !!

After a few minutes of hovering, I started to lose power and then I (believe) it was the cell saver that kicked on. I am using a 3S lipo (1200). I got to thinking about it and had some more questions:

1) What are the program settings I should use on the PHX 10
2) Do I need to clip the BEC wires?
3) Another (Seperate) issue that I am having is that I cannot get the ESC into programming mode. I set my throttle to 0% - 100% but no luck. Any thoughts?

This is really starting to get annoying because for every success I seem to be getting a setback. There are no heli flyers in my area and none of the hobby shops sell ANYTHING for helis. So I am pretty much on my own and gleaning as much as possible from here.
I appreciate the help !

REALLY wanting to start flying,
