Hi,

After changing the washout block with the upgrade kit, my Evo started sideways wobbling while hovering at 1500 RPM. After increasing the RPM on the GV-1 the wobble was gone. When I got home I looked at the tracking, and it was a bit off. Now it tracks perfectly. Do you guys think that this will make the wobble go away? I have not been able to test fly it yet.

I have just started with helicopters after many years flying aeroplanes(F3A), and I have got totally hooked again

Any input will be appreciated.

Regards,
Dag Ragnar

running a higher head speed will make the wobble go away and if your blades are tracking good now, you should not see any problems the next time you hover. my head speed is it to 1600 on the old sceadu(none evo) when i was running a slower head speed it used to wobble.
I'm just finishing up my EVO 50 Hyper and I'm setting the normal mode to 1600.

For just wobble, higher head speeds and lube on the dampeners are the things to look for. If you're running stock dampeners, make sure that they're lubed with a teflon or silcone grease.

If your wobble is accompanied by going out of track, check the spindle and the grip bearings. A bent spindle can cause both wobble and intermittent out-of-track symptoms.

The EVO will wobble with low head speed. Goose it up a bit.

Fixed it now. I think it was a combination of a bit low hovering headspeed and the blades being a bit off track.

Thanks for the help!
