They have some in the store. They do not have them online.

When you get in the area call Andy. He should be able to help you out.

His shop number is 972-315-1854.

Anything in particular that you are looking for? I live about 4 block from Aerohobbies, and could take a look for you if the list is not too big . . .

He is a good guy trying to have a fun business and support his family.

His prices are resonably competative, however, if you try to grind on him for a better price, he sort of takes offence to it.

Some stuff, there is no margin. Heliproz can make the deals they do on rap kits cause they sell stuff out of the kits. Andy does not do that.

Although he will sell you a part out of a kit or his personal heli to get you back in the air.

Generally he is the only one there. The phone is ringing off the wall and the store is full of people. He tries to give everyone the attention they need, but let's face it he is just one person.

On the moody side, yep, I have seen him moody. I did not blame him a bit, though. His baby daughter was sick and he was coming down with the same thing. But, he was there to run the shop so us fellow pilots could fly and he could make a buck or two.

If he is not open he can't make money to live.

Sorry for the long post......I am just "moody" today.

PS. I think the throttle jockey is a heliproz only part.

Andy has always been very helpful to me. I have purchased three heli's and one quarter scale plane from him. He is the reason I am flying today.

@rotorblade17,

i suggest you mean mikeshobbyshop in DFW. This looks like a pretty good choice, because we are also enthusiasts of slotracing. It seems our trip to DFW will be more expensive as we have planned;-)

Best regards
Knut

Both Mike's and Aero have slot car stuff.

Mike's has more than Aero, but they cary the same stuff.

It is fun to watch the cars race @ Mike's. They also fly indoors sometimes, too.

knuxis -
I dropped by AeroHobbies last night, and took a look. Pretty much all that Andy stocks for the T-Rex is the standard Align repair parts stuff - no upgraded to speak of, and he is pretty badly out of stock as of yesterday as well. Shogun parts, however, are plentiful and fully stocked . . . .

He does have a ThunderPower 3S1P pack in stock, although, much like a moron, I failed to record what capacity . . . . he also has some Kokams.

Even though he does not have what you are specifically looking for, you might still want to stop by. Unlike the other shops in the area, AeroHobbies is primarily a heli shop, and I would guess cars second, and all else after that . . . Mikes, while a great shop, is planks, cars, park flyers, and, at least the last time I was there, nothing for helis. Mike once told me that he and Andy had decided to not really fight for the same turf, but rather to complement each other. Not sure if that has changed, but hope it has not . . .
