Forgive my lack of knowledge with the new lipo batteries, but I have a few questions when charging.

I recently picked up the Astro Flight 109 charger as not to have any mistakes on having the thing set in the correct mode, but after 1hour and 16 miniutes the charger yeilds a result of "Fault". I has gone thru mode 1, 2, and 3 so I would expect a message such as "Done", or "End", or even "Your battery is now charged now go fly".

The battery charging is a 3s1p 2170mAH pack at 2.15A if this helps.

How long is your charging lead? I had mine about 3 feet long and after it switched to stage 3 it would turn off saying "OVerCurrent Fault".. I shortend the lead to 1 foot long and it now charges fine all the way to charge done...

Hello, fault message , usually means, poor contact beteween charger and batteries....
If takes much longer than 1 hour " over time" message will go.
charge at 1 C or just bellow it.

109 are great !!!
but needs very good power source.

See you.
