Hello,

Please help, I can't get my TT39 to spin fast enough. I was running 15% cool power previously.

Pitch setting & throttle curve remain the same.

I can barely get the R30V2 to lift off. Seem like the RPM is not sufficient. My low needle is 2 turns out, hi-needle is 2.5 turns out. I cant lean it anymore, there is a kind of burning smell; not nitro. Smoke is pretty thin already.

Advice on the pitch & throttle curve setting.

Thanks

Have you looked at fuel lines? Did you try richening both low and high needles?

Problem with TT39
Hello Al,

I had changed both the clung lines in the main & header tanks. Also changed were the lines from muffler to main tank & header tank to engine.

The problem started when I noticed fuel dripping from the main tank. I then replaced with a new main tank, started up the TT39 but found this lack of power ever since.

Thanks

I have an idea of your "new tank" problem.
The old tank had a leak wich reduced the fuel pressure and you had to adjust (open) the needle settings corresponding to the low fuel pressure.
With the new tank and fuel lines the fuel pressure is giving you a much richer fuel mixture.
Try to lean the main needle and see whats happends.
Check the engine temp after every needle adjustment to avoid overheating.
Use the tip of the index finger on crankcase backcover.
As long as you can have the finger tip there for more than 5 seconds its not too hot.

R_in_S makes a valid, point, but I would say your needles are too lean already. I would at least richen the low needle one complete turn. You will never hurt a motor going too rich.
