Trying to set the GV1 on my intrepid EB and not sure of the rotor gear ratio is, and what the best rpm settings
It has a 13tooth pinion and 90 tooth main so what's the ratio?and how did you get this ratio number?
What would also be the best settings for head speed for hover and mild flying, and how much if any do you increase the head speed when I amount the camera gear on it. I can input 3 seperate head speed settings.
The ship is a EB intrepid with the pro hanson G26, NHP800 mains, V 105 tails and V85 paddles with weights.
Thanks for any help

Can't help ya with the best head speed, but the gear ratio is 90 divided by 13 which turns out to be 6.9 to 1

I sent the engine to hanson to get the pro-mod and balancing done for camera ship use.
His web page states 14000 rpm 4.2HP with veocity stack and his tuned pipe. I'am running with the stock muffler then switching to a century torpedo after brake-in is complete and only have a stock air cleaner, going to get a after market filter soon.
Thanks for the help

If you are going to be looking at the 3d-max engine a would wait till the fall/winter as I've heard there will be a new engine coming out if all goes well with the testing.
