Heli Hobby calls them "Super Landing Gear". They have been out of them forever and seemingly never getting them in again for some reason. I have looked all over net for these darn sets. Wondering is anyone.... knows where I can find some. WIll consider even used if I must.... I need these low profile bad boys for my next cf build.

The second actual displaying pic down shows the landing gear I speak of.

Have you seen these? http://www.rchover.com/shogun_tuning_parts (rchover wide gear 6 items down on the page)
I have a set of these and really like them. They are about 2" wider than stock and are stronger. The heli looks better on them also.

I have a set of those landing gear. They are made of steel and quite heavy. I am using them as a mold to make fiberglass landing gear.

goldenbear, yes I have seen those ones thanks. I have two sets on my two shoguns that I have now. I am looking specifically for the ones I posted, weight should not be much of an issue with the one I am building. It is going to be done with only one stock shogun piec on the entire heli. Super power and bling!!

The best landing gear you can put on these heli's is the MIA ones without a doubt. Unless of course you buying purely on the basis of looks then its personal preference as to what you get, but the MIA ones do the job the best and still look good

Check out the items I have for sale in the clasifieds including a CSM 420

Get yourself a pair of the stock T-Rex gear. there like $6.00
You need to drill new holes, but they look great and are much wider. You can dye them black too if you want.

Mr. Fluffy,
Those are the RC Hover wide landing gear, as mentioned I have two sets of those. I do not have to worry about weight of the landing gear too much as this heli will have a CF frame, and every other lightened hop up there is, I am willing to sacrifice weight for looks on this item. Which is why I am looking for the landing gear mentioned. Thanks

I personally do not find that the width of the gear is a problem, it's more to do with it's short length that causes the heli to rock back and forth a bit (and chew up tail gears). Maybe we need to strap on a pair of chopsticks and give it a 'Chinese' look. Like their food, you'll be hungry 10 minutes after flying it (just kidding)!

Cheers,

TomC
