hey guys, i am getting a 90se, and for those who have them, could you offer some insight as to what are the pros and cons of these particular model, it will have a os90ps, 502/9254, either 9402 or 9350's, mah blades(690's) or what is the largest that will work without issues,i have other blades like sab,tt, etc.. and what is a good throttle servo?

pros and cons these subjects:

1. flying normal aerobatics or 3d.
2. any type of pitchy characterics in flight
3. quality of mechanics and any items that should be upgraded or mod.
4. maintanence or replacement parts after crash.

thanks for any inputs.

i have read the problems with the bolts on the tail rotor, so i will address that.

1. i did get a metal fan to add.

A decent tail hub/tail rotor blade grip assembly, complete with thrust bearings, can be had from JR. The complimenting pitch slider also available. You can "make" the Raptor stock parts work, cross your fingers, and hope for the best, or be pro-active, and move on.

The grip spacing on the SE grips is 12/5mm - just so you can plan on blade selection.

I've been running 700 mah g2's and they're very nice. I pair them up with the mah 105 tail blades. I run 1800-1850 as a head speed and it's very strong and with the right paddles, is pretty quick too. I do cut the max pitch back to +-10, though, since it will bog with more. SO...I'm trying out 690 mah g2's...just got them in. I think that will help the overall responsiveness without any sacrifice in power...just up the pitch a bit. I think a lot of guys run the 690's.

For paddles, I use the Freya paddles and take the weights out...they're very quick and definitely not pitchy. Faster than the excel whites and the V2 95's and handle well from my experience.

i will gonna have to try different blades from the 680 to 700, i too like the freya paddles, i use them on my xcell gasser without weights, and makes it less pitchy then the 3d paddles.
