I keep forgetting to ask.... on my Phoenix 10 there are two governor modes, one for high speed and one for low speed. You have to pick one. Which one should I be using? My head speed is about 2,750 rpm with the Century brushless motor that came with the kit.

This might be a good place to post any other ESC questions or tips. For example, I'm using the soft start mode one step back from "softest". If anyone thinks I should use something else please let me know. I read somewhere that one guy recommended using fast start in case you got in a situation where you needed it while flying.

In normal mode on mine, the motor will cut out at about 1/8 stick as the programming extrapolates between 0% and 100% in the first quarter of the stick movement if you know what I mean. No stick is 0% and quarter stick is 100% so in between it falls off rapidly. If you get into that zone while flying it would be all over before you could get the revs up again. I don't want my first attempt at auto-rotation landing to be because I have no choice! But, other than that one comment, everyone seems to be using the other settings in Normal mode.... I think.

Cheers
