Hello all,

Well I am finally ready to place my order for my first heli the Century Hawk Pro, with the Toki 40 engine and muffler. I was wondering is there any perticular optional parts I should go ahead and order through century while I am at it ?

Thanks

no, but yes????
I do NOT suggest you buy one that goes thru the glow plug hole. Buy one that inserts from the back of the crankcase housing and locks the rod itself.

I would agree with AGRAV8 , that head lock too has a small bearing area where it contacts the top of the piston, damage can occor if you crank down too tightly while installing the fan. Ken

I agree with Agrav8 on the piston lock thing.

But I must say I am guilty of glueing a scew to the end of a bad glow plug and just screwing it in. Never did have a problem

You have all ya tools?

Ball link plyers
Fueling lines and such
Filters
Pitch gague
blade balancer
extra screw kits or ball links? ( I hate when I don't have extra's of these)
etc

Maybe an additional kit just for a complete set of spare parts until you see which ones you'll need more than one of. Might as well start now, you'll need em eventually and it won't be until you get to the field and ding it and if you don't have any spares your day is over.
