Excuse my unruly intrusion...

but i chanced upon the trex CCPM thread..

although some may think that the new CCPM setup is pretty typical, but i think it's real high high quality and cannot be compared to home brew or upgrade setups.... ( so ? screw me...) WHY? ---> IT's A PUSH-PULL CCPM setup....

The current electric helis that sport this setup? The ZoomXL ( from Protech).. I mean, not even LOGO10 sports a push pull setup....

With a little more bracing and locking down, this new TREX-XL CCPM version will fly very very slop free.......

Did I read this correctly? I think it said the main rotor blades are 680-700mm? isnt that like a 60-90 size of blade? I think I misread, I will go back and re read it...

Blade X,

I agree the push pull setup looks better then the direct linkage. I think it will help save the servo gears in a crash and also allow more swash travel with short servo horns/arms. Not to mention it's push pull....

Billy,

I believe thats both blades and the rotorhead.

besides the push-pull system... it's also coming with

Triple bearinged main blade grips.

Double bearinged tail blade grips...

Align keeps stepping up to the competition.

It's like u're down at a burger restaurant and because it's beside another fastfood restaurant, ur burger just keeps getting bigger and bigger and soon we'll either need bigger mouths or stomachs....

I wonder what their R and D will come up with next?.... Spring loaded/pneumatic /shock absorbing landing gear? The fierce competition is good for all of us man... i can expect greater and better Rexes an 400s to come

You can try mail order from http://www.rotor.com.sg in Singapore. Kit without motor for the CDE version is around SGD300+ now. Or get a second hand one from http://www.daddyhobby.com.sg, complete setups running around SGD600 to 1000.
