I was keenly watching Jarod's thread on the ultralight CCPM set-ups of the Trex (at or below 460grams AUW). Found the thread, but it was marked Topic Closed.

I got away from building my Trex, business and foamy 3D planes taking up too much time, but I am still real interested in this ultralight Trex set-up stuff.

Anyone made any additional progress in this regard?

I flew mine at the weekend - all up weight 457 gms almost exactly the same set up as Willy except for a GB motor which I used. I will post a full picture next Monday. I was amazed how stable it was in the wind - the only problem I had was that I was a bit too close to overloading the CC10 so I will put a CC25 in soon.

My Carbon fibre U/C is even lighter than Willy's and I used some plastic tube for the skids

Willy - how about some pictures with the canopy off? Any chance of you selling a couple sets of gear legs?

Yea Willy, I'd be interested in the landing gear too

Did you just paint the linkage rods blue or anodize them?

Willy,

What about the outrunner kit I posted, is that what I need to get to build a motor that will work well?

Also, do I need the firewall mount too?

Thanks!
