What's the advantages do I have by stretching the Rex using the 325mm Carbon blades (I already have those blades on)?

I flew mine today with it stretched. I had to lower my gyro gain or it'll tail wag. I went from around 65% down to 57% and the tail is not holding well. I'm using a 401 gyro. Its wierd. I raised the headspeed and still no go.

Other than that, it's really stable now. Climb out rate is pretty darn good. and it looks good also...

For one thing you wont have to worry about striking your tail blades.basically it just allows you to run longer main blades with out a tail blade strike.

I use the stretch kit and it's a big difference on lift and stability. go for it. I did have to lower my gain to 68 and the tail is real stable now. I use the Align gyro. Best thing I have done to the Rex.
