What would happen if I disabled the current limiting? I have it set on std now, but I think that it is cutting off my motor 3-4 min into a flight. Tha batteries are cool to the touch at that point. (3cell thunder power 2100 m/a)

Current limiting has very little bearing on the motor cut off. The low voltage cut off changes when the voltage at which the motor shuts off. The current limiting protects the motor and speed control from high amp draw which will destroy them.

Paul, what you state may be true in theory, but not in practice.

Some motors such as the Just Go Fly 400DH won't run with a CC35 unless the current limit feature is disabled. If you increase the throttle slowly, the motor will spin up until you get to about 1/3 throttle on the stick -- then the ESC shuts down. If you nail the throttle wide open, it will run. I spent quite a few hours with my CC35, and sending emails to Vinnie at JGF and to Bernie at CC. The solution was to turn off the current limit.

JGF recommends disabling the current limit feature when running their motor with the 400DH.

I've also seen other reports of people running some of the Align motors -- 400S or 400L where the CC ESC has periodically and randomly shut down. Disabling the current limit feature is reported to solve that problem.

If you suspect this is the cause of your shut down, by all means, disable it and give it a test.
