I wanted to say thank you to the guys at the LL. Jeremy put on another great fun fly. Z, did a great job running the impound and the other dude (sorry forgot your name) cooked up some good burg's, hotdogs and snauzages....

The auto contest was fun.... even though I placed last Raja won the contest with the freaking 800's he's swinging on that gasser!!!! Met some nice people, Sandy with the electric joker (really nice) and Eric/Eric from CT.

Anyway thanks again for another great event, Hope to see you all soon.

BTW, Howard actually flew at the end of the day

Thank you Jeremy for putting on another great FF.

Great weather and good turn out. The man at the
BBQ grill this year was SteveL. Thanks Steve!

Yes, incredible but true that we saw Howard fly but I heard
that he dumped that Raptor the very next day due to
mechanical failure.

Jeremy was certainly burning up the sky w/ that mofo ugly
Freya after his Nova became a benchwarmer.

Chris found the ultimate excuse for not flying - procreation!

Blackdog wins 'unstoppable pilot' and IMO, most improved!

Did he let stripped tail gears stop him? NO

Did he let an auto into the tick infested grass stop him? NO

After destroying someone else's Robbe Nova, did that stop him? NO

Did he let a totally smoked clutch stop him? Well, er, YES

Great flying Doggie!

GREAT EVENT
Jeremy and the Gang,

Great event at a great field. Thanks for the hard work and the effort to put this together, what a blast spinning rotors with everyone.

Blackdog....I love the body english when you are flying, second to none...

Josh....Awesome dude, nice low backwards inverted pass, everybody but you though you were going in., you were in the "zone" dude....excellent flight.

Jeremy....don't think I did notice the monster death spiral raining down from the heavens....WAY Cool

The MIT Guys....nice heli and equipment...is that thing going inverted anytime soon?

All my auto contest buddies, great contest....Raja you truly had the autos down...nice PLANK approach....ROFL. I would like to see that Gasser coming down inverted in a Auto some time....YEAH BABY.

Thanks again to everyone who donated there time at the impound, cooking, and just setting up the event. I am looking forward to it next year. If you guys make it down to Eastern CT look me up.

Jeremy,

Sounds good......terminal velocity death spirals....perhaps to add another degree of danger we do them over the swimming hole

See you at Crow Island.....

Ok so the Death Spiral contest scoring criteria is as follows:

Ten points for each full revolution.

Partial credit given for less than full rotation at judges discretion

Twenty five bonus points for pulling out below line-of-sight over the water hazard.

One hundred bonus points for planting it in the water hazard.

Entry fee = $5

Winner takes all.

So, who wants to challenge the fates?
