May 20th, 21st and 22nd will be the Midwest R/C Society's 4th Annual Mid America R/C Helicopter Fun Fly. Located in beautiful Northville, MI, our spacious field with 7 flight stations is just a few minutes off of the expressway and easy to find. Plenty of friends, flying, and pizza to be had. Hope to see you there.

Directions to Northville
If you go to http://www.maps.google.com and zoom into where Hwy 14 intersects with I-275 (west of Detroilet but before Ann Arbor). Zoom in and move westwardly on 5 mile road to where it interesects with Beck. Continue further West on 5 Mile Rd, through the intersection of N Ridge Rd, just past the railroad tracks (on the Right/North) to see the location of the field. The field is where 5 Mile Rd makes the southern base of a triangle with the railroad tracks (diagonal) and Napler Rd (a small road running N & S to the west (left) of the field).

Here's the fun:
Click the Satellite photo button and zoom in. The resolution is sufficient to image the flight line and parking area. Very cool. If you look closely you can see Stevie pile-driving his Evo into the ground

Unfortunately Maps.google won't allow me to cut and paste the photo to another page so you have to navigate it yourself.

Of course, GPS coordinates would be the easiest way anyone got em??

Hi Steve,

I am definitely coming.... I believe Paul Soha and Neil Gerren are coming too. I am sure there will be more coming.

Hey Steve, should I bring cables to tie our vehicles down this year? Since we had 70+mph winds on Friday..... I did enjoy the pizza until the storm passed over. Looking forward to great fun again.

See you next week..........
