well....sorry no pics at this point.... (lost me digi cam last summer taking pics of my car... then it suddenly just went missing--- i really haven't a clue on this one, still burns me up ) hope to be getting a new one relatively soon! ----- but i keep spending all my play money on this bird!
yep lehner and rotorworkz...love it, flys awesome, climbs out like a mofo!
course again i haven't been to a bigger area to wring it out just yet... and just doing some practicing in my front yard the other day and i put her down into the driveway pavement pretty hard. held up well, no frame damage whatsoever. already re-built the broken stuff, but waiting on a tail pitch slider to get back in the air.
one of these days i won't crash all week long, and then i can make it to an open field out by where i grew up (newbury, OH) and do some REAL flying on the weekend.... being that i'm still learning, the lehner setup is more power than i know what to do with.
full throttle puts the bird out of reasonable sight in a real hurry
if you're deadset on sticking to a 3s setup, and don't mind the time waiting and the money to get one... .Lehner is where its at. could always go up to 6s at a later point with the lehner if you want... it is 2 motors in 1. just have to solder the points on the bottom of the motor differently to change the Kv rating to handle High Voltage--- and then the hard part-- find a pinion small enough to handle the HV setup, not easy.. i don't think an 8 or 9t pinion is readily available to fit the lehner shaft, 3.2mm i believe.
Good Day: crashed thx to dumb thumbs. Bad Day: crashed mechanical malfunction. Every Day: CRASH :)
