That looks about right for a starting point.
Remember the the radio reads the percentage of what you have available mechanically.

If you have your mechanical pitch set to -7, 0, +7 then 50% is your 0 degree point. Having said that then 75% is 3 1/5 degrees positive. With that setting you should be hovering at 3/4 stick.

You could probably stand to lower the 100% to 85 or 90%. Guaranteed you'll notice a big differance in the vertical stability.

dgshaffer,

hi m8,

what do you mean about vertical stability??? will it be worse or should it be better???

Thanks alot for the advice in previous email it has helped me understand how the curves effect the heli in flight and how they work to gether.

Thanks alot

Sorry if I was unclear. I did mean it would be more stable (better).

Your throttle curves will follow the same idea. For instance I'm running (since an adjustment yesterday) 0%, 55%, 70%, 70%. 90%.

By having the throttle flatter in your hovering zone you're controlling your height using mostly collective pitch rather than both.

Also keep in mind that this is just to help me retain stability during my hover practice. I'll have it set like this for a while

Hi Z,

I'm betting dg means better, A little less pitch, more head speed is good.

I'm gonna re-adjust mine. Let me know how you make out, or PM me. I'll drop you a note on my progress!

Cheers,
Leslie
