Landing gear was made out of 1 airplane landing gear hoop made of carbon fibre cut in half, the I used a bit of trailing edge of an old broken 30size rotor balde as a chock to get it level and a bit of CF bar to get a nice hight. screwed on some old broken end arms from a voyger E landing gear ...and ther you have it one carbon firbre landing gear.

the hoops are about $15 sgd and one hoom will do one heli, you can use old pegs for the chocks and a bit of wood to get a ride hight.

as fopr the printer its an epson ..you are right but its the 895 only

Admiring All The Bling
I see some sweet looking TRexs there. Thanks for the shots guys. I am always interested in what others are doing. I think too many are hung up on the cost of these items. If you can't afford it, don't do it, but don't knock those of us that can

Nothing too fancy ... yet :-) btw - those mixing arms to help a good deal with keeping a more stable hover, very happy with them.

do the blade grips help keep the blades in track?
Personally I think the blade grips are only part of the problem,

I take off the sticker on the bottom of the blade when I get the blades and replace it with a 1.5cm wide strip of carbon fibre Ca ed on the the bottom over the holes. this makes the blades as stiff as a carbon fibre blades and I also have no problem tracking them ...if I leave the sticker on I think it moves at a different rate due to the flexing of the blade and therefore changes the pitch/tracking of the blade every time it flies.

Just my thoughts

i want gold!
i am considering getting some bling! but i want all the metal parts to be in gold, and i am yet to see any. The only gold parts i have seen are skids.
So my question is, if i buy metal parts, is it safe enough for me to spray them, or should it be colorised another way?
Mike.
